Meet the Owners

Larry and his wife Valerie started their business in 1991 and have over 25 years freight experience. Larry is an active Rotarian where he has served as President of two different clubs. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University and attended the MPA Program at the University of Tennessee.

He and Valerie have been married for over 35 years and have three children, Tiffany, Travis, and Tori who are all graduates of the University of Tennessee.

Director of Operations

Barb Smith is the director of operations at Freight Management Systems. She has been with us since 2000. Barb is who you will work with concerning any supply chain management or transportation needs that you might have.

Tommy Wilhoit

CFO

Tommy Wilhoit has been working at FMS since 2003. He began in customer service and is now our CFO where he develops the financial well-being of our organization. As CFO he is who you will work with regarding receivables, payables and all other financial concerns.

National Sales Director

Lisa has been with FMS since 2016 as the national sales director. Her primary role is cultivating new business and maintaining current relationships.

Warehouse Manager

Since 2012 Josh has directed receiving, warehousing and distribution operations at FMS. He oversees the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

New Business Development

Tori has worked in a variety of roles at FMS for over 10 years. She now heads up our business development department where she assists us in creating new relationships while maintaining close partnerships with our current clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.

Director of Media and Marketing

Tiffany has worked with FMS in a variety of roles since 2006. In addition the development and implementation of the brand strategy at FMS, she also runs our social media campaigns and our advertising programs.
